Plan the commitment

Check what your plan would pay

Ask your insurance plan about the exact service being proposed. Give it the visit and test details as separate questions.

Begin with the assessment

Ask the service for the name of the clinician and the kind of visit it would charge for. Send those details to your plan.

Ask whether the plan would pay for that visit and what you would owe. Request a written reply or keep the record of the answer.

Ask about tests separately

If tests are proposed, ask for their names and where they would be done. Ask the plan about those exact tests, rather than a general testing package.

Ask who would explain the results and whether that follow-up is a separate charge.

Name the proposed treatment exactly

The September 28, 2026 check found no US FDA-approved use for BPC-157. No price was available from a maker of an approved product or a government program that publishes medicine prices.

FDA is the US Food and Drug Administration. Those gaps do not answer what your insurance would pay. Ask your plan about the exact treatment and ingredient, rather than relying on a service's general coverage claim.

Get the cash terms too

Ask the service what you would owe if the plan pays nothing. Ask whether it charges you before the plan responds.

If the service proposes paying cash and seeking repayment later, ask the plan to confirm that route in writing. Keep both answers before deciding.

Why this answer?

Keep the limits in view

A lack of drug approval is established in the medicine record. Payment for a particular visit or test needs an answer from the actual plan.
